Whoa. Where have I been???
Only because it’s too cold to be outside, am I sitting on the computer noticing that my last post was about summery blueberry muffins. It’s November. Eeek!
I wanted to share a fun little idea that has been stashed on my computer for entirely too long.
At Julianna’s first doctor appointment, it was recommended that I take her picture next to the same object each month as a fun way to track her growth. I am so thankful that I did! Now I will forever have proof of her tiny cuteness.
Each month we’d roll out the handmade family quilt and Raggedy Ann (who was selectively chosen to be Julianna’s year long companion). The first few months were a breeze, but as Julianna learned to crawl…we learned how to be more creative and take lots and lots of snapshots. I completely understand the pile of toys and overly excited photographers at picture studios. It’s no joke!
Pick out your favorites and organize them up nice in a collage (I used Pic Monkey) and ta-da! An adorable way to document a year.
A Year of Miss Jewel.
What a little munchkin (apparently I don’t have a collage for month one…slacker).
Introducing: A pint-sized personality.
Enter: The life of a toddler.
Honestly, I just took these pictures a few weeks ago. BUT-she was still able to rock her original birthday dress, so it totally counts (minus the full set of chompers that can be clearly noted in her ‘I am totally over this picture thing‘ angry face).
